Week 1: Reflection

Dear all,

I am very much happy to be a part of online teacher training course. This is my first experience ever have about  web skills course through online mode. Initially, I was confused regarding this particular course because I wasn't used to online course. Before, introduce on this course, for me web was just to search information and to maintain the communication to others. But now it has becoming one of the essential parts to develop my professionalism and academic leadership as well.

As a professional teacher, I am currently engaged in teaching English as Second Language in the Nepalese EFL( English as Foreign Language) setting. Reflecting my experiences while creating blog, it was trouble for me since it has been too long that I have not been using this blog. Previously, I created a blog from http://blogspott.com, but I could not use for a long since I was not aware of importance and usefu
lness of blog in language pedagogy.

Now, I want to give my sincere thanks to my dear instructor Mr. Elliott for providing me guidelines. My aphorism is on teaching, therefore, I believe this course will help me to  make the classroom more technology friendly.

thank you.

Best Regard,

Realistic Renuka

  1. Hi Renuka: Your blog looks great and you are off to a fantastic start. I think you are doing the right thing in working on building your webskills for teaching. These skills will only become more and more important, and most people only know how to do very specific and limited things with their computers. You are building your professional value and improving your career, I believe.

Can you please turn off 'word verification' on your blog to make it easier to add comments. It is item #6 on the instruction sheet. The link to the sheet is: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1O3ryxh6wCCcsWGrNc04uV54MrQ5DetMQLzXiCZv79K4/edit

    Thanks!
